Flying off the virtual shelves

Since the last issue of Bespoke, the Maths Hubs programme’s virtual printing presses have been working hard, resulting in two publications, both flowing directly from teachers participating in the England-China national collaborative project, and both proving immensely popular.

The materials (above) to help teachers with ongoing assessments on the degree to which pupils are achieving mastery of mathematical principals came at the start of the summer holidays, and by mid-October, had already been downloaded 140 000 times, while the Calculation Guidance document, published at the start of October, had been downloaded nearly 10 000 times! These figures are testament to the quality of the work of all the teachers who contributed to the writing of these documents
