I’m trying not to be overwhelmed and I’m thinking about how to take it back to my school without overwhelming my staff.  I always want to go big, to ‘go everyone’- but I think we will need to go small.  We need to start with Y1.  I want to start with the part-part-whole model, with introducing different representations (concrete, pictorial, abstract).  Y1 is a good opportunity for me because there are two teachers returning from maternity leave and a new teacher, so all are looking for support with teaching for mastery.
